Xue lian

A vulnerable young woman from a disadvantaged background is sold to a dim-witted fish merchant with unsavory intentions. Despite her circumstances, she finds herself drawn to a young gardener, and they embark on an intense romantic relationship. When the gardener ends up killing the fish dealer and his mother, the couple is forced to escape from the authorities.
