Sheng dan mei gui

Jing (Kwai Lun-Mei), a gentle piano instructor who has been paralyzed since childhood, lives a serene life. Her world is shaken when she accuses her physician, Zhou (Chang Chen), of inappropriate conduct during a routine check-up. Zhou is swiftly detained, charged, and brought to court. The case is handled by Tim (Aaron Kwok), an idealistic attorney driven by a desire to bring wrongdoers to justice. However, as Tim’s investigator, Nam (Liu Kai Chi), delves deeper into the details, the case reveals unexpected complexities. Tim soon finds himself questioning the veracity of Jing’s allegations.
