Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma

Yukihira Souma aspires to work as a chef in his father’s restaurant and eventually outshine his father’s cooking abilities. However, upon completing middle school, Souma faces an unexpected turn of events when his father, Yukihira Jouichirou, shuts down the restaurant to pursue cooking in Europe. Despite feeling disheartened, Souma’s determination is reignited by a challenge from his father: to endure and succeed in a prestigious culinary academy where only a small fraction of students, just 10%, manage to graduate. Will Souma be able to prevail?
