After a brain injury wipes out the past eight years of her life, Dr. Amy Larsen finds herself in a world she no longer recognizes. With her memory stuck in the past, she must depend on her 17-year-old daughter, who she still envisions as a 9-year-old, and a few loyal friends. As she grapples with the challenge of resuming her medical career, she faces the daunting task of doing so without the benefit of nearly ten years of lost expertise and experience.
