2 Stupid Dogs

“2 Stupid Dogs” is an American animated TV series crafted and conceptualized by Donovan Cook, with production by Hanna-Barbera and Turner Program Services. It originally aired from September 5, 1993, to May 15, 1995, on Syndication and TBS. The show centers around two canine characters, referred to in the credits as “The Big Dog” and “The Little Dog.” Brad Garrett provided the voice for The Big Dog, while Mark Schiff voiced The Little Dog. The series was later rebroadcast on Cartoon Network and its classic animation channel, Boomerang, from 2005 to 2006. It made a comeback on Cartoon Network on June 1, 2009, and again on July 5, 2011, after a decade-long absence, but was removed on September 23, 2011, to make way for “Courage the Cowardly Dog” on September 26, 2011.

Additionally, the show included a secondary segment, a modern take on Hanna-Barbera’s “Secret Squirrel,” titled “Super Secret Secret Squirrel.” This segment was interspersed with the main “2 Stupid Dogs” episodes in many of the 13 installments, reminiscent of the format of early Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the 1960s.
