Purgatory Road

Unable to prevent a robber from taking his father’s small savings, Travis grows up burdened with guilt over his parents’ suicides. He becomes a priest, running a roadside confessional with his conflicted brother, Michael, where he dispenses wise counsel to select sinners while mercilessly dealing with unrepentant thieves. Their tumultuous existence is disrupted by Mary Francis, a mentally unstable young woman with a penchant for violence, who kills a thief threatening to reveal the brothers’ sinister activities. Grateful for her intervention, Travis welcomes her into their secretive world, setting off a series of violent events that jeopardize the brothers’ long-standing, bloody alliance.
