A man, injured and in distress, places an urgent call to report that a shooter is terrorizing a coffee shop, indiscriminately targeting people. When the SWAT team arrives, the gunman begins to shoot at them. Meanwhile, through a series of flashbacks, a waitress attends to a variety of patrons, all oblivious to the impending chaos that will drastically alter their lives.
