Aubri Callahan dreams of making it big as a comedian and currently works as a ghostwriter for Bella Delmonico, a celebrated stand-up comic who owns the Vista Theater. Performing at the Vista is a crucial milestone for anyone aiming for fame, and although Aubri is naturally gifted, she bides her time, crafting jokes for Bella while remaining in the background of the comedy scene. When the opportunity to organize The Vista Theater Variety Show falls into her hands, Aubri must orchestrate the entire event and secure a headliner, all within the tight deadline of three weeks before Christmas Eve.
