Departure
A British mother and her adolescent son dedicate a week to getting their secluded vacation home in the South of France ready for sale. Fifteen-year-old Elliot grapples with the emergence of his sexual identity and feels increasingly distant from his mother, Beatrice. Meanwhile, Beatrice faces the harsh truth that her marriage to Elliot’s father, Philip, has lost its passion, signaling the end of the life she is familiar with. The arrival of Clément, a mysterious local teenager, forces both mother and son to face their own desires and ultimately confront one another.
