Caesar’s Messiah: The Roman Conspiracy to Invent Jesus
Inspired by Joseph Atwill’s popular book on religious studies, this documentary argues that Jesus was not a real historical person. It suggests that the events of Jesus’ life were modeled after a Roman military campaign, and that his anticipated return is actually a reference to a past occurrence. The film posits that the Gospels were crafted by a family of Caesars, who left behind evidence to support this claim. Alongside Atwill, six other contentious Bible scholars contribute their perspectives, asserting that Christ’s teachings originated from ancient pagan mystery traditions. They also argue that Christianity was employed as a political instrument to manipulate the masses in the past and continues to serve this purpose today.
