Ricky Miller, a reserved and unassuming 40-year-old aspiring author who manages a diner similar to Denny’s, finds his life turned upside down when he meets Danita, the woman of his dreams, on the dating site E-Happily.com. This unexpected encounter propels him into an online romance that quickly becomes more complicated than he anticipated, as it involves a shocking request for murder. His best friend Seth, skeptical that a woman as stunning as Danita would be interested in someone like Ricky without hidden motives, fuels Ricky’s own doubts. Danita eventually reveals that she is married to Ben Jacobs, a charming crime novelist and former Rabbi. She claims she wants to leave her husband but fears for her safety if she does. Ricky is left to question whether Danita is being truthful and if he should follow through with the drastic plan to eliminate her husband so they can be together.
