Adam, a wealthy businessman with a yearning for a more refined lifestyle, is motivated by teasing remarks that label him as merely a corporate figure enjoying the capitalist fantasy. This discontented opera enthusiast resolves to host an opera at his opulent countryside estate. He believes that once his friends witness his vocal performance, their superficial mockery will cease. Moreover, he hopes this endeavor will aid him in winning over a female conductor he has been courting, who coincidentally becomes the first person he enlists for his grand event.
